Going back to school

Kairii was shocked.NO one else?This is sad, come on not every one is good at it.I've yet to even SEE an Air Element user yet.Apparently noones even found the temple yet.Kairii mused, half to herself, but aloud for everyone to hear.It was true, only the Temple's of Water, Shadow, Fire and Earth had been found, each in their own area's, was there a reason for that?Kairii didn't know turned out even when she had been born thousands of years ago, no one knew of the Air, and Light temples.

Zearadine was day dreaming and awoke looking at all the camotion. "errr" she mummbled
"why hell to you cause the earth to rawr..should've asked first" She was laughing in the back of her head finding her coment rather funny. Zeara knealed to the ground and placed her palm on the earth. She picked up a hand full of dirt and sprinkled it back on the ground. "the soil here is rich" she replied walking to the front of the crowd beside stepping in front of Yuu. She looked at her and giggled out loud. "your temper is out there I'll give ya that" Zeara found as a big mouth and should lean to hold her tongue unless spoken to directly.

Yuu rolled her eyes,"Whatever Zeara."

Kairii raised an eyebrow at Zeara.A little cocky now aren't we Zeara? Yuu still did well, and if I'm not mistaken you are quite the new one yourself. You Earth weilders need to calm it on down, you still have a long way to go.Which reminds me! There is a little someone I'd like you to meet if she stops laughing long enough and becomes visible...Kairii glared beside her and a burst of flame followed by a hiccup came out of nowhere. another hiccup with this time some ice shooting out the dragon became visible. It grinned sheepishly as it looked at a bit of the surprise on people's faces. The white dragon yawned standing on all fours it was already as big as Kairii.Hi! Her thought rang out.

Zeara didnt find herself to be the cocky type and smiled pretending it didnt feel like a fun killer. "nice..so this is the dragon you have become conpanions with. Marvilus creature"

I am NOT a creature thank you very much!And it was I who became companions with HER get your dragons rightThe white dragon retorted though its eyes were full of mischeif and amusement. Kairii glared at the little dragon.Yes this is Kai. It'll be a while until we can be called companions I suppose.

"oh alright" Zearadine was new to the whole consept of dragons and how everything truly worked or else she wouldnt have been there to learn more. Though it was interesting to see a dragon.

Kai gazed quizzically at Zeara.Your thoughts are confusing...sorry!I know I'm not supposed to but its just too hard not to notice!!!Since you're an elf and all you should know all about it Kairii!!Kai looked ashamed and bowed her head away from the intense glare coming from Kairii.Yes I know, i've quite well enough noticed, but I don't go around reading minds, I can control that. But you only hatched last week so it's okay. Kairii grinned. But Kai was still feeling sorry about reading Zaera's mind so she thought up something.I know!How bout going for a ride!?I can't carry Kairii yet, I'm not old enough but I could totally carry you Zeara! She glowed excitedly.

Zeara's eyes widened with excitment. "seriously that would be so awesome!!"

I know!It's my sorry from me to you, but in advance I've never carried anyone before so gomenesai if its a little bit bumpy at first.Kai grinned her bright eyes gleaming with anticipation.kairii seemed to have a private little chat with Kai then smiling she turned away.Anyone else who wants a ride, and isn't too heavy Kai says she will give a short ride to as well.But don't expect too much, she's only a week old and not even an eigth of her real size yet.

Zeara smiled and climbed upon kai gently. "Im ready when ever you are" she said holding onto her smiling at Kairii.

Cai grinned and lifted her wings with ease soaring upwards. She gave a little grunt at the weight then adjusted to it fast, Hold on I don't want you falling off now.She warned then divebombed at high speed towards the ground pulling up 2 feet from the ground.

"WOW THIS IS SO KEWL!" she yelled looking at the clouds it was almost as if she could touch them.

Kai grinned her white body twisting and turning with ease.I'm quite glad you think so!! That was Kairii's reaction as well, to be truthful the both of you are around the same weight, but she doesn't want to strain me before I start to grow properly. She blew a little bit of flame between her claws mid air. She twisted her head to look at Zeara with questioning eyes.Are my wings Okay?The feathers and stuff haven't come loose or anything?

Zeara looked to her left then to her right "uh no not yet anyway" she said with a worried look. " you dont have to continue fling on my part, after all I dont want you to get hurt" she smiled a sweet smile pulling out a lolipop from her pocket to suck on.

Kai looked a little surprised at Zeara.Oh no I didn't mean anything by that!It's just I've been waiting for my feathers to fall off, it's a sign of my maturing. She said swooping in an ark then turning towards where the others waited on the ground.We dragons only have feathers for a few weeks after hatching, then our wings go kind of bat-like. Feathers are a bit heavier, but they are warmer and us hatchlings don't have enough body heat transfering to our wings to stay in the air and to survive in our eggs. Kai didn't seem bothered by this at all though, she spoke like life and death was the most common thing in the world, no worries attached.

"I never knew that about dragons..actually I dont know much about the anything around here" she said staring at the ground as it approached nearer

Ah well don't feel bad. In all honesty, neither does Kairi or I. For me, I was just born but for Kairi.....well being an elf is harsh. She knows a lot of things by heart because knowledge is passed immediatly in birth and such....but her kind didn't allow her to experience anything like that. Kairi is here illegally so to speak, never supposed to learn elements, or come in contact with any other species.Kai explained, her tone a little sad as they landed and Kairi came up beaming.

Kairi grinned back and stroked Kai's scaled neck. Kai had on a warm smile back at Zeara.It's not a problem! Oh ya, Zeara?I hope that you become friends with Kairi, underneath the serious face and all that, she can be a pretty good friend. UWAH! Don't tell her I said that, I'm not supposed to read her thoughts!!! Kai looked a tad guilty at this luckily Kairi was holding back the mob that was the class.

Zearadine smiled and pet Ki. Dont worry I think we'll be great friends. I also wont tell her anything you've told me. Thank you for the ride the both of you!

Thanks!I'm good at keeping secrets, but this one I had to share. Kai grinned then openly she included everyone else in the thought-speak.Your very welcome, who's next? She asked happily her scaly tail swishing behind her.It's not a problem Zeara, just think you're getting out of school work!Kairi winked oblivious to what ha gone between her dragon and Kai. well she LOOKED oblivious, she knew they had been speaking in a private conversation, and she didn't think it was her place to ask Kai what it had been about.

Zearadine smiled sweetly. Does this mean I can leave early..since I've already had my turn.

Oh i think we can work something out...hehe Kai winked at Zeara and Kairi. Kairi burst out laughing and patted Kai's scaly head.Quick to make friends and show your devil side now aren't we? ah well I approve, go ahead ignore the teacher, we'll give ya a cool excuse!Kairi gave Zeara a friendly salute.
