Sleeping

Kite was sleeping under a tree his chin resting on his chest, Kite's white kimono hanging off of his one shoulder leaving the majority of his torso in plain sight. A long katana rested against his left shoulder his right hand drapped over it. He wasn't exactly asleep, he was conscious of everything around him but not at the same time. The fact that he had miracioulsy found this place was beyond Kites knowledge, as only water-users could get to this secluded place...or they could take a boat which apparently was out of buisness at that current time.

Pharen flew above a large mass of water an landed just along the shore, or what seemed to be the shore to her. She created a large tidal wave covering the rocks an sand of land. Pharen yawned an layed down in the sea. her neck hardly on the sand but just enough above water she could see a demon.

Kite sensed that of a presence and opened his silver eyes. He was surprised to see a dragon out in plain sight, when humans were ut and about. Standing he had no doubts as to the dragon knowing he was a demon, and made his way to the waters edge using some of his own power to create a bridge out onto the water. You know, usually dragons of your size should atleast have the sense to become invisible when there is possible humans around.

Pharen opened her large ice cold eyes. Her eye must have been no beiger a human skull an a half. She raised her head an slowly swung her neck to look about. Pharen groaned at the thought of becoming invisable an hiding her only form. Do answer me this why would I even bother in doing so. Humans will be humans any way. As if their silly weapons could do me any harm if they should seem to be frightened an attack. 'silly Demon clearly he has not known nor met many of my kind.' she thought letting her neck fall back into the cool water. Mostly all of her body was covered in the deeper end any way. You are the one to talk since you have creating that thing of which your standing on over this water.

True, but I've also cast concealment, so that only ones that are not human can see me. also haven't you ever took it into consideration HOW all thsoe dragons were destroyed so long ago, before the humans forgot about us? Weapons still exist like that. Kite mused but his mind was on a different note. Either this dragon is stupid or it doesn't know of the history between creatures like them and humans, and harm can be dealt in many ways when you think about it.

I thought you dragons had accepted the fact of your numbers...and every dragon used to be able to use invisibility, maybe some of you have forgotten how in your time of hiding. And I'm here because it is peaceful, and humans are not so much a problem. Kite didn't care much for dragons, to him they were better off with smaller numbers, he even knew for fact that a lot of eggs never really lasted long, and that they had been choosing dragonriders more lately. To him that was more of any desperate act he'd ever seen. He easily had put a barrier surrounding his mind up, and the dragon had just admited that she had been eavesdropping in his mind. And she was talking about ancient codes and stuff too.

It wasnt as though she could read his mind but be aware of the subject an few details his mind was more into. She stood up, the water splashing an falling down her scaly back. Some dragons do not care about others, we dragons are some wht the same as demons, We dont really care half the time if one of us dies or is slaughter. she paused for a few moments trying not to be stuck on his question, or theory for to long an getting more questions. I make it my duty as the holder of the eggs, No matter what they turn out to be..When one dies that element disappears. Hardly any dragons die from old age so the element(s) that certain dragon had become apart of that person. Demons dont really get that privalage in having an element unless it is blessed upon them.

Her voice suddenly had a drastic change towards him. It almost felt like he was
triing to bring the truth out making her feel rapid an demonic towards all living things.Like my self I am unable to be given that by blood right, I am only to protect the eggs an watch over the chaotic land keeping things in order. Some dragons are unable to speak with out telokenises. She gave a reluctant sigh of his lack of knowledge, though most were still just learning all this history recently. I was as though the world was cut off from all mythilogical creatures until now.

Kite was amazed secretly at the dragons lack of knowledge too. He didn't know she thought the same of him but Kite was most likely ten times older than Pharen. He had known plenty of different dragons before...and he had a disturbing secret that if he could help it would never be told. As he gazed at the blue dragon before him, he felt longing for one of his past lives but he didn't aknowledge it. At one point I too was an element user...I still am but I will NEVER go back to that form or shape. If I ever go back I will die, most likely of the past that form had. Understand? Kite said rather coldly.

Pharen looked to him. My memory is not as good as it once was. Any riders from the past I have forgotten all knowledge of forgive me if I do not remember. admitting she was old an her strength was weakening was hard for her. She was never a dragon of battle unless needed which was hardly ever, though when the time called upon it she would tar just about anything apart if tormented. She woundered which element he might have had in the past but she didnt bother to ask clearly it was his buisness only.

Her nostrilles began to flare with ice shooting from her nose. She hissed an moved from with waters completly. Her body became ici as her sharp horns an scales became glaced with a thick layer of ice.

What in hell does that have to do with anything? I didn't say anything about riders. And I would NEVER be a rider, I hate dragons. And whats wrong with you? Kite looked round suspiciously.

Pharen shook her head. Im sorry I had riders on the brain. she blinked her eyes forgetting about what he had said about his last question. Then your saying you hate me as well, how smart. she glared off

If you're expecting me to say "I didn't mean you" then forget it. I don't like dragons. They're nothing but a disapointment to every being. Kite said simply turning and beggining to walk back across the water.

Pharen was insulted as well as pissed off. Big words for such a demon. Mind to explain your hatred... her claws proped out an dug into the ground. Pharen had always found demons to be the difficult sort to get along with. they were always picking a fight and liked to be troublesum.

Yes I do mind. And since I mind I refuse to say anything about it. Kite gave the Blue a cold look with his unatural silver eyes, before continuing on. he knew she was being pissed off but he wouldn't talk about if it killed him. Or atleast that was what he thought.

Pharen let out a loud rawer she had the sudden erge to wanting to rip him to shreds. She hated when others ignored, or tried to challange her. Then I have nothin more to say if your going to be difficult. she closed her eyes an laid down on her side sprawling out on the shore.

Fine with me, dragon. Kite lifted a hand in a dismissing gesture and kept going a slight smile on his face. Like anyone full of mischeif he was enjoying the dragons anger.

Pharen reched out an poked him in the gut with her claw claw, which was the size of half the size of a persons arm. she than closed her eyes listening to the waves brush up against the shores.

Kite dodged it easily with a scowl. For such 'honorable' beings, you sure act like the lowest of them all. He commented keeping his back turned, he was nearly to shore, and Kite found himself grinning at the familiarity of all this teasing.

Great insult, come up with it yourself..there is no fun to you at all is there.. and I was hoping I wouldnt want to flick your skinny behind into that cold water. she scofted humming a little tune. It was her day off an she wasnt going to let him get to her if thats what he wanted.

Kite had a sceptical look on his face at that. Surprisingly I'm very popular at the parties I go to. It's really annoying. And I have many friends, but most of them have bad intentions towards your kind.

There are many reasons. But I'm sure if we tried all kinds could get along....at an arms length anyway's.Kite thought that it could be possible someday but he would be long gone by then most likely.
